| Additional Information | Bodice fitted front and back by close, narrow pleats above waist center front and center back. Fullness shirred at neck on front and back. Lining is fitted and closely boned. Hooked opening on center front. Bodice has a hook opening up its left side and on its left shoulder. High, stiffened, stand-up collar hooks at left of back. Large leg o' mutton sleeves. Upper puffed sections are cut in one piece and gathered into armholes and onto narrow sleeve linings. Forearms are each cut in two sections and stitched to lining and puffing. Puffing interlined with stiffener. Waistline dips slightly front and back and is finished with folded satin ribbon and a double bow on the back. Gored skirt cut in five pieces. Fullness concentrated at back eased into wide waistband. Centre back hooked opening; tab for widening waist. Skirt lined and interlined with stiffening from knee down. Used by Elizabeth Mary Cuthbertson and Ruth Cuthbertson Tingle.
